GI5FSAXVB00 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Instructions

Took off the old gasket and pushed in the new one.
Note on the left door, you will need to remove the center piece. suggest watching youtube video.

It is as easy as is shown in the self-help video. (1) Disconnect the power, (2) Roll the appliance out so you can get to the back, (3) Using a nut driver remove all the screws from the lower back panel then remove the panel, (4) Remove the tensioner wire, (5) unplug the electrical connection to the capacitor, (6) gently but firmly remove the capacitor and starter relay as one unit, (7) preassemble your new capacitor and starter relay as one unit, (8) now simply reverse your steps for installing and you are done! These two parts saved me the cost of a new refrigerator. Almost as easy as changing a light bulb. PS: while you have the panel removed you can do a thorough cleaning with a soft brush and vacuum.

Once I took new gaskets out of carton
and put out on patio to warm up I removed old gaskets pressed in new gaskets which made a great seal
Job was easy and took no skill

Took out the old and installed the new.. The fit was perfect.

Removed old starter and capacitor as per your website instruction.
Plugged in new parts.
Compresser turned on

Once I realized the High voltage Board was bad I ordered the new High voltage board from Parts Select, the part was in stock and was delivered to my house in two days, I opened the box, and the instructions were very clear how to install the new high voltage board and program the board with the code for my refrigerator. There are also videos on You Tube on how to program the code on the refrigerator in case you have difficulty. In all, the problem was fixed and the refrigerator was up and running. (1) Slide out appliance and remove power source. (2) Removed lower access cover on rear of refrigerator. (3) Disconnected plug to the condenser fan motor. (4) remove blades by pulling gently forward (5) remove mounting hardware holding the fan motor (3 screws) (6) motor is now free and new motor can be installed

Replaced filter and the water started to flow like the Nile River and the ice maker came back to life.

Remove rail and removed broken black plastic spring mechanism with new one and then replace rail.

Unscrew filter. Screw on filter bypass

Removed the door and replaced the broken door closure bushing. I had courteous help and responce from Parts Select people. Excelent turn around time on parts delivery.

one screw and electric plug and the unit slide out. Slide the new one in and your ready to go.

Watched video. Unplugged refrigerator and popped out switch. In plugged connector and pushed switch in place. Plugged in refrigerator and the light worked

Replaced mullion and pivot block
The pivot block and the mullion showed signs of wear and tear where they would meet up to close the left door.

Instructions were great five minutes to remove and replace fan....Thank You............ saved big money
