Fan motor was making an intermittent (very annoying) squealing noise.
Located the model number on the inside wall of the unit. Wanted to make sure to order the correct product.Because of the age of the refrigerator I ordered the rubber mounting grommets. In this model the mounting frame is built at an angle that makes the removal and reinstall very easy. Remove two screws and the motor is loose. The fan bla

Fan making an intermittent loud noise
Well the repair would have consisted of simply removing the old fan, and installing the new one, however, the replacement fan sent had a female connector on it, when it should have been a male connector. So, I had to take the connector off the old fan, and splice it onto the new one. This turned a really simple job into more of a project

Hi my question is: My fridge is too noisy so i checked and i found that the fan that is in the back is making that noise. I ordered the fan groomet and replaced it but the noise is still there. The fan is moving strange and making the noise. I wonder if there is a way to know to know if the fan motor is making that noise? Also, i was reading the customers comments and all the comments talk about the condenser fan that is in the freezer but my fan that is making the noise is not in the freezer is un the back of the fridge and is located in the bottom. So, i don't know if my problem is the same as the rest of the customers. Thank you for your help.
For model number WR60X10241
Hi Eduardo,
Thank you for your inquiry. If the condenser fan motor at the bottom of the refrigerator in the back is making noise, then you will need to make sure the fan blade is not causing the issue. If it is not causing the issue, then you may need to replace the motor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My condenser fan is not working. The condenser is hot to the touch. Freezer is approx. 32 degrees Fahrenheit, bottom is approx. 50 degrees. What should I be checking for?
For model number HTH17CBTZRBB
Hello Thomas, Thank you for the question. If the condenser Fan is not working it can not keep the Compressor cool and the Fan will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

For model number Pss26mgsbww
Hello Jon, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, this part is not compatible with your model. The compatible part for your model is the condenser fan motor, part number PS1766247. We hope this information helps!
From the diagram I ordered number 650 which should be the evaporator fan motor the description on my order form says condenser fan motor are they both the same or is there an issue here
For model number GTH18GCDERWW
Hi Anthony, thank you for contacting us. The condenser fan motor and evaporator fan motor are different. The condenser fan motor moves air across the condenser coil to cool the hot refrigerant, whereas the evaporator fan motor circulates air through the fresh food compartment for efficient cooling. The compatible evaporator fan motor for your model is part number PS12741350. Glad to be of assistance!
I removed the fan motor from the freezer (wr60x10346) because i see that the blade is not rotating and the freezer works fine but the fridge does not cool well, is the problem the fan motor.
