This part is the upper spray arm for your dishwasher. The spray arm is made of plastic and is approximately 10 inches wide. The upper spray arm is mounted to the top of the dishwasher tub, and rotates during the cycle to ensure that your dishes are washed evenly. If your spray arm is clogged or damaged, your dishes may not clean evenly, and you will need to replace the spray arm. To access the spray arm, you will need to remove the top dish rack, then simply unscrew the old arm. Screw the replacement arm in, replace the dish rack and your repair is complete.

Replace all three spray arms and knocking sound disappeared. Unscrewed counter clockwise old sprayer arms and lifted. Replaced with new sprayer arms and noise disappeared.
The part did not fit at all but not worth it to me to return it. The part I need is about 20 inches in length and the one sent was about 10 inches. I will simply call for this dishwasher to be repaired or replaced.

The upper arm sprayer is damaged does a screw come with the arm?
For model number GDF510PSD6SS
Hello Barbara, thank you for your question. No, this part doesn't require a screw to install. To access the spray arm, you will need to remove the top dish rack, then simply unscrew the old arm. Screw the replacement arm in, replace the dish rack and your repair is complete. I hope this helps!

Part 570 (upper sprayer) and the arm that holds it came off. It is still intact. It appears I could re-attach it.Can you provide instructions how to do this with pictures or diagrams. I could send a picture of the part.
For model number GDF520PSD0SS
Hi Morris, Thank you for the question. If you remove the upper spray arm from the tubing(conduit) that it connects to you will see a screw that holds the conduit to the top of the dishwasher, then you just snap the spray arm back onto the conduit tube. Hope this helps!

Wash arm fell offwas laying on dishes in perfect condition how do i attach it back and where does it go
For model number GDF520PGDOWW
Hello Nancy, Thank you for your inquiry. The upper spray arm attaches to the main conduit assembly that is behind the racks. If you look at the top of the conduit tube, you will see a screw that holds the conduit to the top of the dishwasher, then you just snap the spray arm back onto the conduit tube. If it does not stay, you may need to replace it. Hope this helps!

Upper arm water spray detached from back wall of dishwasher. Will not reattache. Nothing seems to be broken.
For model number gdf520pgd2bb
Hello Ken, Thank you for your inquiry. The upper spray arm attaches to the upper conduit-WD12X10414 with two square support clips on the arm that attach to the two side tabs on the upper conduit arm. If it is not re-attaching, check to see if both square support clips on either side of the arm are not cracked or broken, and check the conduit to see if the tabs are broken off. Hope this helps!
