Dryer overheats and knob does not move?
For model number HTX21EASKOWW
Hello Betty, thank you for your question. The issue could be with a thermostat, or thermostat and sensor bars. I would recommend cleaning the sensor bars with rubbing alcohol and cleaning out the dryer vent and inside around the blower wheel and motor are. If this doesn't fix the issue, you should test the thermostats to see if there is a faulty one. There are three around the heating element and one on the blower housing. Test these parts with a multimeter for continuity, to determine if one or more has failed. I hope this helps!
