Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This door gasket is genuine OEM part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in ovens. The gasket is made of heat-resistant material, and it is positioned around the perimeter of the oven door. Its primary function is to prevent heat from escaping the oven cavity to maintain the desired temperature inside the oven. Additionally, by preventing heat loss, the door gasket helps to save energy and reduce cooking times. Over time, door gasket can wear out or become damaged, leading to decreased efficiency and potential heat loss.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Range door asket
This part was easy to locate on your site because of the photos. It was easy to install myself due to the simplicity of the part (couldn't be sure this would apply to ALL parts) and took only a few minutes to remove the old and install the new.

Is this part the seal around the door? That is what i am looking for. How do you attach it?
For model number WFG320M0BW0
Hi Ruth,
Thank you for your question. Yes this is your door gasket. There are little metal clips all along this part that you would push into slots on your appliance. That is how you would install the part. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
