H2O error code. Not filling with water randomly
Turned off power from breaker at electric panel. Removed kick plate and mounting screws. Disconnected supply line from hot water valve after shutting off. Disconnected flex hose drain. Pulled dishwasher out. Used channel locks to undo water valve supply hose. Used nut driver to remove water valve bracket and disconnected sensor plug in .
... Read moreInstallation was opposite of removal. Fill sensor was a twist and turn and a disconnect from sensor plug. I believe my problem was just the fill sensor but decided to do both parts just in case it was the water fill valve so I didn’t have to pull the appliance out again. Parts were cheap enough to do both.

I am having problems with water pressure in the washer. The spray arms are not rotating when the washer cycles. The washer does fill and drain appropriately. I was thinking it may be the water inlet valve?
For model number CDT805P2N3S1
Hello Rod, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend replacing the circulation pump, part number PS12741248, to fix the issue. It delivers water to the spray arms to clean your dishes. We hope that helps!
Need detailed instructions on how to install the water valve assembly
For model number GDF630PSM4SS
Hi Glenn, thank you for reaching out. We have found the instructions to install the water valve assembly. These may not be of the same model but will help you in installation. You may need to follow these steps:
1. Shut off the water supply valve.
2. Use the driver to un-thread the screws securing the toe kick and set it aside.
3. Use Pliers to un-thread the water supply line elbow fitting from the inlet valve.
4. Use a drill driver to un-thread the screw to release the junction box cover.
5. Use the screwdriver to un-thread the strain relief nut and power wires from the junction box.
6. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink drain or garbage disposal and feed it through the cabinet.
7. Un-thread the mounting screw securing the dishwasher to the countertop cabinet or floor.
8. Use the pliers to compress the hose clamp and release the filler hose from the water inlet valve.
9. Unplug the wire harness from the inlet valve.
10. Un-thread the screws that secure the valve and then remove the valve.
11. To install the new water inlet valve, follow the same steps backward.
We hope that information helps!

Could this valve cause a squealing noise?
For model number GDF630PSM4SS
Hi Bill, thanks for the question. Yes, it is possible that your water valve may be malfunctioning and making squealing noises. Other parts we recommend inspecting are the two pump motors and seals, as sometimes these seals can get dry and cause a squealing noise if the dishwasher isn't used often. If any of these parts need to be replaced, our friendly agents at Customer Service would be happy to help you place the order. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
DW is not getting water. Runs for 1 min then orange light goes off. Water line is fine. I replaced Water Valve ASD. At first water entered dw and it seemed to run for a short time until i interrupted the cycle. However there was some leaking, steady drip for 1 minute, from funnel and gasket (grey arm od side where water enters). Next cycle there was no water entering again. Is the Water Valve or something else recognizing the leak and preventing water from entering? Should i replace funnel gasket arm?
For model number GDT645SSN3SS
Hi Jay, thank you for reaching out. As you have already replaced the water valve before replacing the funnel gasket arm, we would suggest checking the pressure sensor assembly, part number PS12741258. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
