This part is the replacement carrier roller for your dishwasher. It is also known as the wheel support. It is made of gray plastic and is approximately 5 inches by 2 inches. The carrier roller supports the wheels on your upper dish rack so it can slide in and out of the dishwasher efficiently. This roller is for the right side of the dish rack, the left side is sold separately. Because it is made of plastic, the roller can occasionally crack and break, and when this occurs, it will need to be replaced. If you notice that your dish rack is having difficulty sliding in and out, you should check to see if the roller is damaged. This is an OEM part from the manufacturer and it is sold individually.

No wheels!
I spent about $11 for this part and spent $9 for shipping. What the part description didn’t tell me was that the wheels for this part are sold separately which makes no sense. Unfortunately I went to Amazon and ordered the wheels with no shipping cost. I could have done this to begin with and bought both parts but thought I would support someone besides Amazon.

I have a GE dishwasher model number GDT645SYN2FS. The bottom rack rollers the wheels keep coming off call, I lost one. Also on one of the roller assemblies the tab that keeps the wheel on is broken off. So I would like to get a new roller assembly with wheels, And a few extra wheels also.
Also, the soap dispensing door only opens halfway when you’re using a liquid dishwashing soap. If you use the square packets of soap there doesn’t seem to be a problem. It’s almost as if the spring on the door is not strong enough and the liquid soap acts like a Joe and keeps it from opening all the way hence. The dishes need to be ran again.

Hello Richard, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number you have provided and the lower rack roller assembly with the outer carrier is part# PS16219735, the roller wheels are part# PS16217024, and the spring and door on the dispenser would only be available as part of the soap dispenser assembly, part# PS16542427. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
The rollers on the left side of the lower rack fall off everytime you pull it out. Is the wheel housing tabs supposed to face to the back?
For model number PDT715SYN3FS
Hi Renise,
Thank you for your question. According to the diagram, the roller carrier would cover the wheels. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
