Ordering a part for my Whirlpool Dryer was easier than expected. There was a short video on installing the door seal which was very helpful. My husband installed it quickly and easily as per instructions included. Before my door seal fell apart, the "check vent light" would come on. Door seal came off
Did not take the door off..applied adhesive and seal fit perfectly..used packaging wide tape to secure for a bit while adhesive dried..waited 24 hrs..holding well..dryer is back to working order..thank you..I received the seal in 2 days after ordering!!

The seal came off our dryer door.
Take door off dryer (unscrew four screws). Lay door on flat surface. Using glue provided glue down new seal. Put dryer door back on and you're done!

The door gasket on my dryer appears to be foam inside with a braided covering that is frayed . Which is the right one to order with adhesive . Please provide the number so i may place an order . Thank you in advance .

This door seal does not include the adhesive glue.You will need to order Silicone Sealant PartSelect Number PS11740605 to attach this seal to the unit. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
