Easy repair
The part fit perfectly. Was a quick and easy repair. Had to wait a few weeks as it was backirsered and not notified. That was a little frustrating. Until I logged into part select to check on my part ordered after it was not shipped within several business days is when I found out of the back order.

Repair went well
Part worked great. Easy install. However, after placing a two day rush order on the part listed "in stock", I was told it actually wasn't in stock and had to be ordered from the manufacturer. It took somewhere between 9-12 days for it to arrive.

Electrical connection pulled off the element
When I pulled the element out of the back panel of the oven to remove it, the electrical connection got caught on the edge of the hole in the panel and disappeared back into the oven insulation. It was difficult to find and pull it back out to reinstall it on the new element.
It was a little difficult by my self an extra hand would of made it much easier.I unscrewed the screws pulled the wires from the back of the oven which took a few minutes.I am not great at fixing things but once I got the old one out it went smoother than I expected.it took about 25-30 minutes with an extra hand could have made it 10 minu

Bottom elerment burnt into
First i removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I the pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnect the 2 wires. The new one didn't come with the little holders at the front of the element and were very hard to get loose from the old element .i finally got them back on the new one and put it back in the stove. How do you test for what part you need no heat in oven broil or cook they do not work
For model number CFEF312FBB
Hello Dave, thank you for your question. First you will unplug the unit and remove the elements to test them. With a multimeter test for continuity on the elements. If there is no continuity the elements have to be replaced. Then test the oven sensor probe PartSelect Number PS11731754. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the sensor tests within those ranges, the electronic board should be replaced. I hope this helps!

Where is the broiler on this oven? And what is the bottom drawer used for?
For model number FEF365BDW
Hi Tammy, thank you for your question. The broiler is the element at the top of your oven. It looks like your drawer is a storage drawer. Good luck with your repair.
