Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This paddle, when your glass is pushed against it, activates the dispenser to release the ice through the funnel.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Very fast shipping
I received the part fairly quickly. It was very easy to order since I had the model number of the refrigerator and this site had them all in comparison to other parts places so I was able to find my model almost instantly. I ordered the part and it came very quickly. I was really impressed. Looking at a couple of YouTube videos made the installation and repair a piece of cake. It was a great time to bleach out the area where the water comes out and the ice since mold accumulates in that area at times and splashing from putting ice and a Coke glass makes it really a mess. So I cleaned everything up and installed this part and I couldn’t be happier. It’s as good as new. I’ve ordered from these people before and they are absolutely phenomenal. Buy with confidence.

The indoor water occasionaly stops working due to the waterline in the door freezing.
I applied heat to the area with a hair drier. Used a little too much heat and deformed the ice funnel which also controls the water spigot. Ordered a new ice funnel from PartSelect. Part arrived in about a week and included a schematic of the mechanism which made disassembly and reassembly very easy. In a short time everything was working

Mostly cosmetic, ice funnel broken, not dispensing water
Just look at the parts diagram and follow the explanation. That easy. Still not dispensing water, so i think i need a switch since the water filter is new but no water.
Removed outer trim by pulling it carefully out of its clips. Then disengaged the electronic display card by grabing the bottom of the card to disengage the card from the upper clips. I leaned the card forward and disconnected the wire connectors. Removed the 4 screws to take off the frame that contains the funnel. Remove the broken fun

Removed the rubber funnel and attached to new funnel dispenser. Start at one end of the rubber flap and work around engaging the rubber into tabs. Replace the Funnel dispenser back into frame. Make sure the longer wire of the spring sits flat on the plastic frame and that the right elbow of the spring raps around the edge of the funnel. Secured the frame assembly back into the Refig using 4 screws and attached out trim starting withe bottom tabs engaged first.

Ice funnel cracked
Followed video for replacing the ice chute flap solenoid replacement because getting to the ice funnel took same steps of disassemble. Looked at how the existing funnel was set in the housing, where and how one spring was located, where the switch and its activating arm on the ice funnel were located, took old one out and put new one in.

Ice Chute Flapper not closing causing water dripping to floor and ice chute freezing up solid
I followed the video instructions for replacing the Flapper Valve and solenoid that Part Select suggested. It was one of the best DIY Reapair Sites I've used. Thank you
Service Tech Melted the funnel and housing for the ice maker
The trim, funnel and housing were removed. I exchanged the small electrical part to the new housing and reinstalled the housing, funnel and trim. It took longer to get the tool then it took to make the repair.
Melted Dispenser Housing Shield with hair dryer trying to thaw out frozen water line
Pull plastic trim piece off refridgerator door, unclip printed circuit board and remove wires unscrew dispenser housing, and remove. Transfer Ice funnel to new dispenser housing with old spring. Reinstall dispenser housing and printed circuit board.
Trying to defrost the water line in the refrigerator door I melted (deformed) the plastic parts.
I carefully removed the trim from around the dispenser area then freed the catches in the top of the electronic card. I leaned the card forward and disconnected the electrical connections, then removed the card. I removed the four screws holding the shield to the door and removed the shield. Then I removed the funnel from the shield an

Does the spring come with ice funnel?
Hello Robert,
Thanks for your question. The spring is sold separately from the ice funnel and is dependent on the model number for an exact part.
I hope this helps.

The water/ ice will not stop running unless I lock the dispenser or gently move the control lever around until it stops. Have already replaced solenoid and going to replace the springs on ice chute.
For model number PS123SGRBSV
Hello William, Thank you for the question. You may have a defective Dual Inlet Water Valve, PartSelect Number PS304374. The valve can become stuck open and allow water to continued to flow through. You can also test the Micro Switch, Part Number: PS8259956 for continuity with a Multi Meter. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Hi Daisy, thank you for your question. We do not have an installation video for your appliance specifically. However this video will show you how parts like this are generally installed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-JUZCh2zGU. That should help you with your appliance as well. Good luck with your repair.

Will not dispense water what could be the problem
For model number GSH25JSDDSS
Hi Fred,
Thank you for your question. I would first suggest checking the water inlet valve with a multi meter to be sure that part is working correctly. If that part is fine you may need to also check your dispenser door solenoid and your micro switch. Good luck with your repair.

The flap on ice maker is not opening and closing properly. Therefore, when i dispense ice it all gets blocked in the funnel behind the flap. So i have to open the freezer door and push the ice manually down the opening causing the flap to open. If i dont the ice stays there blocking ice behind it from dispensing.
For model number GSL25IFRFBS
Hello Frank, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: the recess door spring, dispenser door recess crank, and dispenser door solenoid assembly-which is what actually opens and closes the flap. Hope this helps!

Water constantly drips from tube at dispenser. What controls the water flow. Is it the funnel that you push in to dispense water?
For model number GSL25KGRBBS
Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your question. Actually that would be your water inlet valve that controls the water flow. There are two solenoids on your water inlet valve. One for the water and one for the ice maker. I would suggest checking the one for your water. It could be that it is malfunctioning. I hope that helps! Good luck with your repair.

My ice maker will not stop running. It doesn't make ice all the time but it does run all the time.
For model number TFX24ZRS
Hello Roger, thank you for your question. If the icemaker is running all the timer, and won't shut off, I would recommend replacing the icemaker itself. The icemaker has its on motor module that runs like a timer to fill, freeze, dump, repeat. If this motor module is not shutting off the whole icemaker should be replaced. This is part number PS1993870. I hope this helps!

Does the ice funnel #wr17x11267 fit my refrigerator
For model number PFSS9PKYASS
Hi Gary,
Thank you for your question. This ice funnel is not listed under your model number. The funnel for your refrigerator is sold with the ice chute door and funnel assembly. The part number listed under your model number for the ice chute door and funnel assembly is PS2359937. If you would like to place an order for it, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
ice dispenser working, water dispensing is not. So far replaced water dispensing valve. What is the problem?
For model number PGCS1RKZ
Hi Clayton,
Thank you for your question. If your refrigerator is not dispensing water and you have replaced the water inlet valve, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will also need to check the water filter, the dispenser door solenoid, the microswitch and the dispenser control board.. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
The rubber ring around the outside of the dispenser came off. Now ice splays our wide. Does this part fix that and fit my model?
For model number ZISS480DRKSS
Hi Emily, thank you for your question. Your funnel does not have a rubber gasket on it. The rubber portion is actually part of the ice door which I have listed below for you. Good luck with your repair.
