Friction sleeve had torn, resulting in dishwasher door 'falling' when opening.
I unscrewed the dishwasher from the counter (two screws under the countertop), and pulled it out about a foot so I could access the friction sleeve. I used a needle nosed pliers to slip a spring latch off the door. Then I slipped the new friction sleeve on and reattached the spring. Tested the door. Success! Super easy. About 5 minutes of work.

Door latch failure.
Prepared by watching the video. Great instructions. Great.

Disassembled easily as per video. Removed the old latch and installed the new.

Began the reassembly and learned that after ten or more years the small plastic parts used to keep the dishwasher steady had slowly deteriorated to the point that I was breaking these necessary items faster than I was putting the appliance back together.

What was a half hour task became over two hours and the end result was for me to put my tools away and buy a new dishwasher the next day. I learned that if your appliance is over ten years old BUY A NEW ONE!

Great job by the people who make and sell the latch parts for you who own a dishwasher that is only a few years old.

Thank you Part Select.

The door had no resistance when opening it
You only need to pull it out about 6 to 8 inches and you don’t need to disconnect anything to slide it on

replace rack adjuster kit
This kit is not very easy to install. There are no photos to show you how to un-install the broken pieces. Our replacement kit was missing the screws, too, so I'm not happy with the replacement kit. We had to use some zip ties to maybe keep the new parts in place until I can get the correct replacement screws. It would be better if I could have ordered a rack with the side kit already installed. That would be the best for me.

Guide wheels broke off
Pulled upper tray out. Removed old adjusters and replaced with new. The pictures in the installation instructions were bad (blurry and hard to distinguish). Had problems with the first side button. Put it in before installing the wheel base on the second side. Went much easier that way. You did need a star tip for the screws.

Door was falling down quickly
Only one friction sleeve was broken. So I pulled out the dishwasher to see how the one on the other side went on. It was very easy to replace and I replaced both. Unit works fine now.

No instructions provided; Star driver included but useless
This repair is simple. However, what you recieve is a box of loose parts and no instructions. The new parts are not remotely the same design as the original. You have to figure out how to remove the old parts (fairly easy by careful prying) but then sort out what the new parts do and how they fit together. It takes patience and some mechanical knowledge. Once you figure it out, it goes quickly. A fairly simple diagram included with the parts would be definite benefit for most people. It seemed like an odd omission. They also include the shortest star driver (about 1 inch long) I have ever seen for the 4 screws but it is useless since you can't really apply enough torque to the screws to properly set them. Be prepared with a standard length star driver.

A plastic retainer pin for the bottom kick panel was missing.
simply line up the new pin with the rectangular slot in the kick panel and metal panel behind, slide the pin in and turn it with a flat blade screw driver.
NOTE: the original pin was black. A black replacement part cost $29 plus shipping! A knock-off pin was only $6 plus shipping. I got the cheap one and colored it with a black Sharpee marker before installation.

dishwasher rack broken
I followed the video instructions, they were very clear. Only issue is the screws have a special head. They provide a small tool for it, but it would be easier if the head was just a philips head.

Take out old broken parts and install new ones
Followed the instructions from the U Tube video by Matt from Appliance Video for Adjuster Kit W10712394. Matt did an outstanding job describing exactly how to remove the old parts and install the new ones. He speaks slowly and precisely and left no detail behind. Removing and installing the parts went like a breeze! Thank you Matt!

Original upper tray had broken away from all 4 rollers.
Although the b&w photos spooked me a bit. I quickly learned to tear off/break off the old adjuster arms, and then refer to the written directions for installing the new parts. Don't waste your time trying to figure out removal of the original parts, just get them off. So, I did not find the photos helpful, but I figured it out.,with help from the text And of course, once you do one side, the other side is a breeze!
