Very good. Really only one screw holding the timer in place. It was a little difficult finding the right tool to use to remove that screw. But, once found, it was a easy as pie!
pulled off the existing wires and made sure that they went back on the new one in the same place. then took off the existing screws. then took out old timer. replaced the wires on the right connections on the new timer then put the timer back in its position and tested it. the dryer turned on.
I unplugged the dryer from the wall. I took the back off which was simple then I took pictures of all wires connected to timer switch and then I disconnected the switch and looking at my pictures got the wires connected to the new timer. Put it all back together plugged it back in and was back in business. I'm a 37 year old female massage therapist and this was my business dryer I was fixing.
Dryer wouldn’t run-knob wouldn’t catch when turned
I researched the problem-ordered the part-watched a tutorial on Part Select website and replaced the old part with the new-couldn’t have been used asier
Dryer was overheating, found that the timer was not working. Replaced timer and new timer does not work either. Replaced High limit thermostat part number 12073908 and dryer still runs to hot and new timer still don't work. Now looking for and suggestions on what the problem might be.
Replaced the timer. did not fix the overheating problem, replaced the High limit thermostat and that did not fix the problem, new timer does not function, does not time.
Still waiting for your parts. over two weeks to get part which was a hinge for something, I don't know what, but not my dryer seal. You said you would refund shipping and wrong part and charge me for a new order. End result was I got charged extra shipping for your mistake. The part still is MIA and it has been 5 weeks since I originally ordered. Will never do business with you again.
I removed the top cover and the back cover to install new belt. Once i put new belt i discovered that the pulley was also broken so now i have order the pulley so that i can complete the repair
First I replaced the timer, but dryer still did not start. took apart dryer, jumper out door and componet near motor to see what problem was and to be able to run dryer while opened up. Actually motor had seized up just enough to not allow motor to start rotating. Lubricated motor shaft and rotated motor for oil to work its way in. Tried starting again and motor started. Buttoned dryer back up and reconnected wires to appropriate places and started dryer again and again.Worked for 4 loads of laundry and still working for 3 loads on Wednesday. Working fine
