This circulation pump is a genuine OEM replacement part designed for use in dishwashers. It is responsible for circulating water throughout the dishwasher during the wash and rinse cycles. The circulation pump draws water from the dishwasher tub, pressurizes it, and then distributes it to the spray arms, which spray the water onto the dishes to remove food particles and debris. The circulation pump may fail due to several reasons such as an electrical fault, a blockage in the pump impeller, motor failure, or physical damage. A faulty pump will result in water leakages, unusually loud noises during use, reduced water circulation, and poor cleaning performance.

Perfect part, easy repair.
I didn’t have the correct pliers to crimp the hose clamp, so I had to be a bit creative with a channel lock and a slotted screwdriver, but otherwise a very straightforward replacement

The dish washer wasn’t cleaning dishes
The circulation pump is a super easy fix and the installation video parts select has on its website is accurate. I felt the most difficult part of the repair was removing the dishwasher from the kitchen counter to make the repairs. After you get the dishwasher out, you pretty much just pop the old pump out with your hands and a flat head
... Read morescrewdriver. (The supplied video is spot on ) Installing the new pump will require a pinch plier or a hose clamp. I chose a new hose clamp as it is cheaper and I would never use the pinch pliers after this job.

My dishwasher will fill with water but wont spray. It drains fine. I have noticed before it stopped spraying that it wasn’t cleaning dishes very good. Could the circular pump be to e issue.
For model number WDF330PAHS3
Hello Kelly, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend you first check your upper and lower spray arms if there is any blockage in the holes. If the spray arms are clear then you need to replace the circulation pump, part number PS16744934, to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!

How do I test the circulation pump to make sure it’s working and doesn’t need replacing? I have it disconnected and have a multimeter
Hi Nickie, thank you for reaching out. To test the circulation pump for continuity, you need to set the multimeter to the lowest ohm setting or the continuity setting. Remove any power line attached to the pump. Attach the black meter lead to one terminal and the red meter lead to another terminal. If the meter shows a reading between 10 to 100 ohms, the circulation pump is working fine. If the meter is showing less than 10 reading it is faulty. We hope this helps!

Sprays sometimes. Sometimes fills, waits and empties. Next cycle may or may not work. Circulation pump reads about 45 ohms on R-1.Push cancel button, always empties. On restart sometimes works, sometimes not. Thanks.
For model number WDP370PAHB0
Hi Dennis, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the issue is probably due to the control board, part number PS12070631. We hope this helps!
The dishwasher fills with water and water comes out the spray arms but doesn’t spray.
For model number Wdf540padm3
Hi Gordon, thank you for the question. If the dishwasher fills with water and the water gets to the spray arms but still does not spray, then you may need to make sure that the spray arms are not clogged. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the circulation pump, part number PS16744934, as it may not be providing enough water pressure to the spray arms. We hope this solves your problem!

Does this part work with the wash cycle
For model number 5189297815
Hi James,
Thank you for your question. Once the washer completes the wash cycle the drain pump would drain the water and go into the spin cycle. If you need help placing an order for it, customer service is open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Washer is dispersing the soap but when the cycle is complete soap is in the bottom of washer and the soap pod is undissolved, can hear water going to the drain at the end, but during the cycle sounds like it quit working, is there more than one pump. I pulled the drain pump, impeller turns good, Thanks
For model number WDF320PADW3
Hello Charles, thank you for your question. The water in your dishwasher needs to be between 120 and 160ºF for the pods to dissolve. If the water doesn't get to this temperature range, then the pods will not dissolve, and your dishwasher will not be able to operate correctly. There are two pumps. One Drain Pump is PS11738151 and the other is PS16744934. Good luck and have a great day.
What is the primary function of the circulation pump? My dishwasher is not cleaning dishes in the top rack
For model number WDF330PAHS1
Hi Hugo, thank you for your question. The function of the circulation pump is to move water through the spray arms to clean the dishes. If your dishwasher top rack dishes are not getting clean, the issue might be due to the circulation pump, part number PS16744934, the pump and motor assembly, part number PS11770231, and the upper spray arm, part number PS11752696. Please check and make sure that the circulation pump and upper spray arm are free of clogs or debris. Replace the part if one is found to be defective. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
Dishwasher fills with water and then nothing happens. No sound after waiting I press cancel and dishwasher drains. Spray arm clean.

W11612326 circulation pump.
I took it off to clean it, and now the O-Ring is not going back into the seat, so it leaks. Do I have to replace a perfectly good pump just because the o-ring won't go back in?

Hello Michael, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the circulation pump grommet, part number PS11756098, is sold separately. You need to only replace the grommet to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!
