Whirlpool Washer Water Inlet Hose
This time I was replacing both the water inlet valve and the hose leading to the disperser.
First remove the two screws holding down the control panel. It then flips back and hangs out of the way behind the washer. Then remove the spring-clip holding the rear plate to the body of the washer, one on each side under the control panel.
Next you need to remove the screws holding the body down to the base at the rear of the machine.
I then tipped the body of the washer forward and let it rest on a bucket so I didn't have to take it completely off. Then it is easy to access the hose and the water inlet valve. Shut off the water and remove the supply hoses to the washer. Remove the two screws holding the water inlet valve to the rear of the washer using a nut driver. Next remove the wires to teh inlet valve, making sure to note which one is cold and hot, and which orientation they are. Mine was yellow on top and brown on bottom. Next remove the springs clamps holding the hose on. Replace the hose re-using the same clamps. Replace the water inlet valve reverse the process to re-assemble the washer. Tilt the body back on, put the screws in the base, clamp the back to the body, flip the contorl panel back over and insert the screws. Reattach the water supply lines and you are done! Read more...

This part is the replacement water inlet hose for your washer. It is black in color, made of plastic, and is approximately 19 inches long. The water inlet hose connects the water inlet valve to the water fill nozzle. Over time the hose can become cracked and damaged, and this can cause it to leak. A damaged hose will need to be replaced. Be sure to disconnect the water supply to the washer before you begin this repair. Cold water flowed slowly
First, be sure to take the washer apart properly! The first time I fixed my washer I took it apart the hard way to change the clutch, and believe me it took longer to put it back together!This time I was replacing both the water inlet valve and the hose leading to the disperser.

The water intake hose had a hole and was leaking. I think a rat chewed it.
I first watched a YouTube video on how to open up the machine. It was a breeze. I removed the part the hose attaches to where the water comes out and into the tub. The hardest part was removing the old hose clamps. Had I known I would have used new clamps. I took off old hose and replaced with the new one, it took longer because of the clamp issue. Otherwise it went fairly easy, to my surprise. Even tho I am a 70 yr old woman I will try to fix what I can. Doing this saved me at least $600. For a new washing machine. I'm so proud of myself.

This is a replacement tub-to-pump hose for your washer. This hose runs from the bottom of the tub to the water pump, and is used to transport water. The hose can develop a hole, and when this happens you will notice water leaking onto the floor. The tub-to-pump hose is found below the washer tub. To disconnect the hose, you will need to release the clamps that hold it in place with a pair of pliers. When you replace the tub hose, you will need to transfer the ball, air chamber, and clamps from the old pump to the new one. To do this, you will need a set of wire cutters and a new zip tie to replace the one you will need to cut.

A wirre from an underwire bra punctured a hole in tub to pump hose. Water leaked out all over the floor.
I searched the internet for parts because we had just had a repairman out to fix the knocking noise in the washer drum. He found an underwire from a bra there and removed it. That cost about $100. My husband took apart the bottom panel and showed me what the part looked like and I was able to find it on your website. Whirlpool Washer Dishwasher Faucet Adapter

faucet attachment would not sit correctly in hose connector to portable dishwasher. Received machine second hand. Could not find a replacement faucet adapter. So ordered new one and hose plus connector.
Turned machine on side. Removed two casters with Wonder Tool prybar. Then used it to remove plastic push screws holding cardboard bottom cover. Unscrewed water hose. Used screwdriver to remove clamp on drain hose. Stood machine upright, opened door. Unscrewed two screwsfrom tabs into woodblock top. Slid top forward and removed it. Cut plastic hose retainer. Removed hose assembly. Installed new hose by reversing steps. Used a new wire strap to hold hoses in place on top corner of machine.

Whirlpool Washer Dispenser Hose
All screws can be removed with a 1/4" socket, either with a socket wrench or nut driver.
Top panel - remove three screws on back, slide panel back an inch or so, and lift off.
The control panel must be carefully pulled off by using a screwdriver to pry it away, and then placed on top of machine. Be careful not to disconnect or damage any attached wires.
Pull out the detergent dispense drawer, press the retainer on the left rear of dispenser drawer, and pull it out and set it aside. One small torx screw must removed from the dispenser housing.
Bottom front panel - remove three screws to take it off. This exposes the screws on the front panel.
The front panel of machine must be removed as well.
This is the most tedious part of the job, as the door seal must be disconnected from the panel. Remove the wire and spring retainer around the door that holds seal in place. The spring portion of the retainer is on the bottom of the opening. Pry it off with a screwdriver, being careful not to damage the rubber seal. Do not remove it, simply push it into the washer opening.
Remove the screws from the front panel - two on top, and two bottom. It has some wires on the right side, and to avoid damaging them, support the panel with a stool and prop it up against the machine.
You can now access the hose on the rear bottom of the dispenser. Using a pliers, squeeze the retainer and pull the hose off the dispense. The other end is pressed into the tub - simply pull it out. I recommend cleaning the edges of hole to assure a good seal when installing the replacement.
To install the replacement hose, press it into the tub, making sure to get the channel in the hose properly inserted in order to make a solid seal. Attach the other end to the dispenser with the retainer.
Reassemble by reversing the order described above. Read more...

The small clamp was easy. The big one I had to use my yoga to get to it. It probably would had been easy from the back panel but moving the machine requires brute force.
Once the hose was out I found some bra under wires which is what probably punctured the hose.
Removed the front filter and found a bunch of nails.
Assembly was much easier and placed clamps so that if needed it would be a lot easier to remove and replace. Read more...
