It features a Velcro backing on one side which allows it to securely hold the sandpaper in place during operation for efficient smoothing of surfaces. If the pad breaks, becomes dislodged, or is unable to hold the sandpaper, you will notice inefficient and uneven sanding. Remove the faulty pad assembly by removing the retaining screws.
